Jeffrey M. Omtvedt is General Manager/Operator of Andiamo of Livonia, LLC. He is the co-author of a series of Christian personal development books for children and a consultant on issues pertaining to information technology, human resource strategies, life events legal plans, and identity theft awareness.
Mr. Omtvedt is a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist, by the Institute of Fraud Risk Management, and sought after speaker and educator of the subject of identity theft and the DataBased You™. He has appeared on several radio and television programs as an identity theft expert and has presented to the Oakland County Chiefs of Police Association, the National Association of Insurance Woman – Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, the Northern Indiana Association of Health Agents, the Michigan Red Cross, the American Society of Employers, GMAC Insurance, The University of Michigan Alumni Association, as well as members of several banks and credit unions, non-profit organizations, human resource managers, city municipalities, and average citizens.
Prior to his current work, he spent three years with a private, Chicago-based firm, working in web software programming, e-commerce software architecture, and business-to-business supply chain integration. His company, JMO Consulting, was a lead HR and IT strategist to MichTel, the Pontiac, MI based firm selected to implement Wireless Oakland, the largest wireless initiative of its kind. He was a nominee for The Crain’s Detroit “20 in their 20’s”, an award that highlights “tomorrow’s smartest, brightest, and most creative business stars.”
Mr. Omtvedt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a focus on American Government and Political Theory, from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and currently resides in Detroit, Michigan.
